Dr Philip Balcaen a graduate of the University of Waterloo's honors applied health science program and the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine has been practicing as a licenced naturopathic doctor in Chilliwack since 2001. With an interest in chronic health issues, he has developed skills benefiting patients in particular with chronic pain, cancer care with or without ongoing conventional therapy, diabetes, autoimmune disease, allergies, chronic fatigue, chemical sensitivites, cardiovascular disease and of course general health concerns. He offers a number of treatment straegies including chelation therapy,intravenous IV treatments including high dose vitamin C IV's, prolotherapy for ligament reconstruction, neural therapy and biopuncture, darkfield blood analysis, and autonomic response testing. The office offers electroacupunctre food allergy testing to identify food allergies, intolerances, and sensitivites as part of a treatment program.
