Dr. Trent Brereton has been in private practice since 1997 and currently has clinics in Cranbrook and Creston, BC. Dr. Brereton is a family practitioner who uses herbal, nutritional and homeopathic treatments. In addition to family practice he specializes in treating and preventing heart disease using EDTA chelation, meditation, diet, exercise and comprehensive blood work. To support conventional and alternative medical treatment, Dr. Brereton incorporates personal growth work into how he helps people heal. There is a growing body of evidence revealing that how we relate to ourselves and those around us is a powerful predictor of health and disease. Dr. Brereton uses meditation and emotional expression to encourage people to become more alive internally. The combination of family practice natural medicine and experiential personal growth process makes for an exciting, proactive way to begin personal change toward health and vitality.

ND:   Naturopathic Doctor (in BC, in order to practice as an ND, the doctor must have completed at least 3-years pre-medical training-most doctors complete a bachelor's degree, 4-years full-time medical training at an accredited naturopathic medical college, and the completion of provincial board exams prior to being granted licencure. NDs in BC are licenced and regulated by the College of Naturopathic Physicians.)
DC:   Doctor of Chiropractic. Indicates this naturopathic doctor previously achieved a recognized degree to practice as a chiropractor.
DHANP:   Diplomate in the Homeopathic Association of Naturopathic Physicians. An additional degree focused on classical homeopathy.
