Bio
Dr. Neil Tran is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in BC. His focus is individualized family medicine, with the goal of creating optimal and radiant health in every patient through safe and effective Naturopathic care. With a solid background in the sciences, and extensive training in Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Tran will be able to treat many conditions through effective holistic and individualized care. His early training was in the sciences, with a Bachelor of Science honors degree (B.Sc., Hon.) from Simon Fraser University, and as a researcher in the field of biophysics and physiology. He then went on to pursue 4 years of naturopathic medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, before returning to Vancouver to practice as a Naturopathic Doctor.
Many consumers of alternative health care are concerned with the effectiveness and safety of natural medicine, especially with the numerous and conflicting advice coming from the media. With his training and experience, Dr. Tran is able to assess what each individual needs, and guide them on the path to health and wellness. He will do this by combining best of both worlds, with the strength of scientific knowledge and the wisdom of traditional holistic approaches to disease.

In addition to his education in Naturopathic Medicine, he also has 5 years of additional training and experience in pain management using the Bowen Technique (http://www.bowtech.com or http://www.bowencanada.ca). The Bowen Technique is a gentle, yet effective treatment that can cure many conditions of chronic pain. Dr. Neil Tran is a certified Bowen Therapist, and has successfully treated many cases of chronic pain that was not relieved by conventional care or other therapies, including:
