Dr. Corrine Dawson, ND

Naturopathic Physician General Family Physician   Dr. Corrine Dawson has a general family practice, treating all ages and diseases with a special interest in women's and children's health. She treats each person as a unique individual and draws on a number of modalities and protocols, treating all aspects of health and wellness.   She graduated from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, revered in the Princeton Review as being one of the best medical schools in North America. Her undergraduate training includes genetics research at the University of British Columbia for cardiovascular disease. She then contributed to research in complementary and alternative therapies for the treatment of prostate cancer at Vancouver General Hospital.   Dr. Dawson's medical training includes work at the volunteer-based Friends for Life Clinic, treating patients with hepatitis, HIV and terminal cancer. She was one of only two interns to pursue a clinical externship to compliment her clinical training hours.   She completed training to expand her knowledge and treatments to women and children by becoming a labour support doula and attending many births. This part of her services has been postponed as her family has recently welcomed through adoption a little girl into their home.   Dr. Dawson has also pursued further training in chelation therapy, which is ridding the body of toxic heavy metals. She is registered by her college as an acupuncturist and is trained in bioidentical hormone balancing. She lectures in the community and has appeared as a guest on radio.   Dr. Dawson regularly attends conferences and seminars to further her education and is an active member of provincial, national and international associations, including:

  • British Columbia Naturopathic Association
  • College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia
  • Canadian Naturopathic Association
  • Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors
  • Bio-identical Hormone Society
  • International Hormone Society
  • World Society of Anti-Aging Medicine

Outside of her practice, Dr. Dawson enjoys spending time with her husband, seven year old son Isaiah and one year old daughter Isabella, family and friend get-togethers and quiet time reading with a cup of tea.
