Natalie Mazurin, ND is a graduate of the University of Victoria and the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Mazurin brings a unique sense of energy and enthusiasm to her practice. She believes that a healthy lifestyle needn’t be a chore, and works with her patients to provide the education, choice and flexibility that lead to optimal health.
In addition to general wellness and nutritional consultations, Dr. Mazurin has experience with a wide variety of health issues including digestive health (IBS, acid reflux, colitis, constipation, food allergies), cardiovascular health (high cholesterol and hypertension), and hormonal imbalances (PMS, infertility, menopause, PCOS and thyroid disease). Other focus areas include detoxification, diabetes, immune support,stress/anxiety, allergies, weight management, skin conditions, and sports injuries.
Dr. Mazurin draws on a number of modalities and treatments to provide a complete system of analysis and care. Initial visits include thorough history taking, physical examination and selected laboratory testing. Follow up visits may include the use of treatment modalities such as nutrition, homeopathy, herbal medicine, acupuncture, therapeutic injection, physical medicine and counseling. In all cases, Dr. Mazurin works closely with each patient to determine which therapies are best suited to the individual.
As a Naturopathic physician, Dr. Mazurin seeks to facilitate healing on a mental, physical, spiritual, and energetic level. She is well trained to identify the symptom patterns that lead to the root cause of disease. By putting together all the pieces of the puzzle, Dr. Mazurin designs programs which result in long term health and vitality.
Dr. Mazurin is proud to continue a family tradition of Naturopathic medicine. In between her studies, Dr. Mazurin spent years living abroad in Australia, South America and Taiwan. She enjoys traveling, cooking and socializing.
Dr. Mazurin is licensed by the BC College of Naturopathic Physicians and is a member of the BCNA.
