Dr. Jese Wiens is a licensed Naturopathic Physician with additional certification in Acupuncture and Bowen Therapy. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in cell biology and genetics. She received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster B.C. Dr. Wiens believes in individualized health care and recognizes the value of working with all health care providers to improve patients’ health and well-being. She has a passion for finding and treating the underlying cause of illness to aid the body in obtaining optimal health, taking health care beyond just getting rid of bothersome symptoms. Dr. Wiens emphasizes educating her patients and enabling a holistic and preventive approach to healthcare. Dr. Wiens has a general family practice and treats all types of patients, with added experience in chronic pain, women’s health, children’s health, arthritis, and gastrointestinal health. Her treatment methods may include acupuncture, nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy and homeopathic drainage, hydrotherapy, lifestyle counselling, and physical therapies.
