Dr. Emina Jasarevic is a naturopathic medical doctor practicing in Kelowna, BC. Dr. Emina was born and raised in beautiful BC. She completed her Naturopathic Medical Doctorate at the esteemed Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. Prior to this, she studied psychology and biochemistry at the University of Northern British Columbia. Dr. Emina practiced on Vancouver’s North Shore prior to moving to Kelowna.
Dr. Emina has experience treating many health issues including: women’s health (in particular, fertility and menopause); endocrine imbalances (including diabetes, adrenal and thyroid dysfunction); gastrointestinal conditions; weight loss; cancer support and prevention; cardiovascular conditions; as well as allergies. Dr. Emina is passionate about environmental medicine in how our environment is directly interlaced with our overall health. By assessing and reducing one’s total toxic burden from a lifetime accumulation of solvents, heavy metals, pesticides, etc. - optimal health can emerge.
As a naturopathic physician, I practice functional, science-based naturopathic medicine. I employ a wide range of naturopathic therapies including nutritional assessment and education, intravenous vitamin and mineral therapies, cleansing and detoxification, acupuncture, botanical medicine, hydrotherapy and homeopathy. It is my privilege as a doctor to educate my patients about their health condition, lifestyle choices and medical options and to empower them to make the right choices for optimal health.
