Dr. Erika Kneeland is a graduate from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, Western Canada’s only accredited Naturopathic Medical School. As part of her training, Dr. Kneeland completed a 2 year internship at the Boucher Naturopathic Clinic where she gained valuable clinical experience, and pursued a clinical externship, where she studied with Dr. Heather Marinaccio, one of the most experienced Naturopathic Doctors of the profession. Prior to her four years of Naturopathic Medical training, she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree, with honours, from the University of Calgary, and wrote an undergraduate thesis on the level of empirical evidence standing behind natural medicines. Dr. Kneeland has a special interest in fertility, obstetrics, pediatrics, PMS and women’s mid-life issues. Dr. Kneeland takes an integrative approach in her practice, using Traditional Chinese Medicine, Botanical Medicine, Bowen Therapy and Biotherapeutic Drainage. Whether an individual has a specific health condition or is looking to optimize their level of health, Dr. Kneeland uses an individualized program that creates a healthier person. She has developed individualized treatment programs that have been successful for people experiencing digestive problems, hormonal imbalances, skin conditions, musculoskeletal conditions, difficulty with weight management, fatigue, stress and anxiety. Dr. Kneeland is a member of the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia (CNPBC), and is in good standing with the British Columbia Naturopathic Association (BCNA) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
