Dr. Kathrine Tavakoli ND BSc graduated from The Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine after completing a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of Toronto. Dr. Tavakoli encourages her clients to be involved in their journey to better health by empowering them with information, education and choice. Individualized holistic care is the basis of her practice and she believes in working with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in order to create the best outcome for each patient.

In addition to her extensive naturopathic training, she has certifications in Bowen therapy, Mesotherapy and Chelation Therapy. Dr. Tavakoli treats individuals of all ages and all health concerns. She maintains a special interest in women’s health, pediatrics, gastrointestinal health as well as acute and chronic pain or sports related injuries. Her treatments include botanical medicine, acupuncture, nutritional support, homeopathy, and physical therapies. Dr. Tavakoli has a growing passion to work with chronic diseases such as arthritis, autoimmune disease and cancer.

Bowen therapy, a gentle hands on therapy, is a noninvasive way to bring the body into balance.

She is also experienced in anti aging protocols (mesotherapy) that include natural aesthetic procedures, non surgical facelift and facial rejuvenation, cellulite treatment, and breast firming.

ND:   Naturopathic Doctor (in BC, in order to practice as an ND, the doctor must have completed at least 3-years pre-medical training-most doctors complete a bachelor's degree, 4-years full-time medical training at an accredited naturopathic medical college, and the completion of provincial board exams prior to being granted licencure. NDs in BC are licenced and regulated by the College of Naturopathic Physicians.)
DC:   Doctor of Chiropractic. Indicates this naturopathic doctor previously achieved a recognized degree to practice as a chiropractor.
DHANP:   Diplomate in the Homeopathic Association of Naturopathic Physicians. An additional degree focused on classical homeopathy.
