Dr. Shannon Sarrasin, BSc, ND is a licensed Naturopathic Physician. She has a family oriented practice with a focus on supporting women’s and children’s health using natural medicine solutions. Dr. Sarrasin strives to understand the relationship between an individual's symptoms in order to identify and treat the root cause.
Her treatment plans draw from clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine, homeopathy, and lifestyle counselling. Her goal as an ND and teacher is to support people in achieving their optimal health: physically, mental/emotionally, and spiritually.

Training and Experience:
Dr. Shannon Sarrasin obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Manitoba. She went on to complete the four-year, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. Upon graduation, she practiced Naturopathic Medicine and Colon Hydrotherapy in a multi-disciplinary clinic in Winnipeg.
Dr. Sarrasin now calls the west coast her home, where she feels blessed to enjoy the ocean, trees, and clean air with her husband and two beautiful children. She is excited to be part of the team at Peninsula Naturopathic Clinic and Cook Street Village Health Centre, and enjoys doing educational lectures around Vancouver Island.
