Dr. Dana Tishenko is a naturopathic physician offering primary health care for families in the Comox valley.  After earning a Bachelor of Science, Dr. Tishenko went on to study medicine at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine.  She was drawn to the study of naturopathic medicine because it offered a balance between modern western science while maintaining a respect for the body’s innate power to heal.  Dr. Tishenko believes strongly in working with the patient to discover the ‘root’ cause of illness and developing treatment plans that meet the individual needs of her patients.  As a naturopathic physician, Dr. Tishenko is trained in Acupuncture, Clinical Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Bowen Therapy, and Laboratory testing. She has a special interest in women’s health, fertility, pediatrics and developmental disorders.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Tishenko has a passion for healthy cooking.  She lives an active lifestyle hiking, camping, snowboarding, and most importantly chasing after her two baby girls.
