Dr. Peter Bennett is a naturopathic physician, best-selling author, speaker, and consultant to health care professionals. His co-authored book the 7-Day Detox Miracle was welcomed on the LA Times best seller list as a safe effective way to help people increase energy. Dr. Bennett currently sees patients in Langley, BC where he supervises the care of patients. He treats patients with acute and chronic health problems using hydrotherapy, acupuncture, diet, chelation therapy and intravenous nutritional medicines.

Dr. Bennett received his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) in 1987 from Bastyr University and completed a three-year degree program in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NIAOM) in Seattle, WA. He has also completed a BA in Asian Studies from the University of British Columbia.

Peter frequently writes for magazines, and appears as a featured expert on national television programs, helping audiences focus on their health management strategies while stressing outcome and performance-based results. His "performance medicine" focuses on healing acute and chronic injuries, providing individual biochemical assessment, and providing programs for optimum performance and recovery.
