Dr Ayla Wilson is a doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and the founder of High Five Family Health – which she opened in the fall of 2017 in Gastown (Vancouver, BC) after seven years in private practice in Edgemont Village (North Vancouver, BC).

Born and raised in Vancouver, Dr Ayla Wilson attended the University of British Columbia for her pre-med studies before completing a 4-year Naturopathic Medicine program at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster, BC.

Known for her extensive work treating childhood conditions (in particular PANDAS / PANS and autism spectrum disorders) Dr Ayla Wilson built High Five Family Health on a simple philosophy: see the individual not the diagnosis, and the underlying cause rather than the symptoms of the disease. As a testament to her philosophy, she uses a wide variety of treatments and modalities to treat her patients – which she caters to the needs of every patient that she works with.

In addition to treating PANDAS/PANS, Dr Ayla Wilson also treats hormonal imbalances, immune system dysfunction and autoimmune disease, chronic infections and Lyme disease, male and female fertility, women’s health, childhood conditions (such as ADD/ADHD, autism, asthma, eczema), gastrointestinal health, stress-related conditions, sports-related injuries and chronic joint pain.

She also holds a number of professional certifications and industry affiliations, and is extensively trained in a number of naturopathic practices, including pharmaceutical prescribing, bioidentical hormone therapy, prolotherapy and injection techniques, IV therapies, nutrition and neutraceuticals, lifestyle counseling and botanical medicine.

Dr Ayla Wilson is registered and in good standing with the College of Naturopathic Physicians of BC.
