Dr. Crystal Hadikin BSc., ND grew up in the West Kootenays and credits growing up in a small town for inspiring her love of community. After graduation from high school, she moved to Vancouver Island and completed her Pharmacy Technician certification. This started her interest in the variety of treatments available for illness including the use of herbs and vitamins as a non-pharmaceutical approach to wellness.
Dr. Hadikin completed her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at the University of Lethbridge. During this time she was a research assistant studying memory at the Canadian Centre for Behavioural Neuroscience. She co-authored a paper published in the journal "Learning & Memory" and has presented research at the Canadian Society for Brain, Behaviour and Cognitive Science conference.
Dr. Hadikin graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. In 2010 she volunteered with Natural Doctors International providing free Naturopathic care to local communities on the Island of Ometepe, Nicaragua. She is licensed as a Naturopathic Doctor through the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia and is an active member of the British Columbia Naturopathic Association (BCNA), the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and a founding member of the NorthWest Naturopathic Physicians Association (NWNPA).
Dr. Hadikin has a special interest in allergy, balancing hormones and optimizing brain health through identifying the underlying causes of imbalance.
