(NALS) Naturopathic Advanced Life Support is a newly developed course approved by the College of Naturopathic Physicians of BC (CNPBC). We have removed BLS from the curriculum in order to extend our focus on ND specific topics. However saying that BLS is a pre-requisite of NALS. We are offering a Heart and Stroke BLS certification via blended learning which will allow you to accomplish both certifications within the one day (as long as you have completed the online component in advance).
NALS is valid for a 2 year term.
The BLS portion of this course is a refresher course that requires you to complete an online portion through the Heart and Stroke website in order to attend as we will be running a BLS Refresher course (expedited version). Please ensure you follow the steps below prior to your course date.
To complete the BLS Challenge course via Heart and Stroke please go to:

2. click on Programs (found along the top of the screen)
3.scroll down and click on BLS (listed under Healthcare)
4. scroll down and click on BLS Renewal
BLS Renewal Challenge is found under prerequisites
5. Launch program, you will be asked to pay a $10.00 fee to Heart and Stroke for this online portion.
5. After completing this you will be emailed a certificate, this must be forwarded to debbie.wright@ohmmedical.com prior to your selected course date in order to administer the BLS exam to you.
