Trauma-informed practice fosters an environment where the unique story of each person’s life experience is met with body-oriented compassion and awareness in order to safely and respectfully provide appropriate care and service.

Trauma-Informed Practice (TIP) for Healthcare Professionals is a unique, body-oriented training designed to support healthcare clinicians in creating a trauma-informed environment for their clients. The goal of the training is to raise awareness of trauma and develop regulation-informed communication skills to build compassion, safety, and regulation in the therapeutic relationship. Curriculum is tailored to meet the unique needs of clinicians and their clients with relevant considerations for working one-on-one in practice.

VI. Regulation Self-Care for Clinicians

We have been providing courses to industry since 1990, and initiated the injection courses in 2008. Our courses are always designed in harmony with the CNPBC to meet all their requirements and providing some of the richest learning experience.  Our standard AIT program and the one we are most known for is a 3-day event with multiple instructors.  Due to covid, we have initiated a new and safer program all while complying with the government health authority and CNPBC requirements.

The covid program includes multiple web based trainings, Q&A’s and a follow up web session, plus 2 days of comprehensive hands-on training in a private clinic.  Classes are kept small, start time is 9:30 am to allow for those coming in from out of town the ability to arrive that morning and we finish Sunday by 4:30 to allow those having a longer driver or to catch the ferry. This now reduces potential away stays to 1 night, frees up 1 plus days for clinic and provides the opportunity to complete much of the didactic during moments which are best for you. In all the financial and time impact is much less.

The AIT 1 course covers assessment, prolo, neural and peri-neural injection techniques for the extremities: shoulders to fingers, hips to toes; and includes the recognized pharma for these areas as per CNPBC and Health Canada guidelines, plus any other CNPBC requirements.

Due to the smaller size, the frequency of the classes has been increased so you are able to find a class at a time which best suits your needs and timing.

All participants must complete a covid questionnaire and affirm they are covid free to enter our training bubble. The potential of contamination risk increases exponentially as the group size grows, hence the smaller groups are an important element.  No one wants to be a victim to 2 weeks quarantine and lost time.

We understand these times are tough for many, in light of this we have greatly reduced the price of the course and offer the ability to pay in installments.  Combine the lower price with the extra clinic time and time away costs and this new program offers significant pluses to the traditional 3-day training all while fostering a safer covid free bubble.

In the end the most important is that you are well trained, in a safe environment and that you can return to your clinic and make a difference on your patients.

Look forward to seeing you with us, contact us if you have any questions
